Information Session on Refugee Sponsorship

This workshop is for new sponsors who have submitted an application, and who have not yet been to a workshop, or new sponsors or volunteers to a sponsoring group.  Topics covered include: • Canada’s resettlement programs for refugees • Roles and responsibilities of sponsors, settlement agencies, SAHS, and newcomers • Ethical sponsorship and empowerment • Managing expectations
